A different idea of success.
Rajath's interest in entrepreneurship began during his college years. Rather than following a conventional corporate career, he wanted to create a business of his own—one that would give him the freedom to explore his interests and shape his own path.
After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree, he enrolled in an MBA programme. He eventually chose to leave, realising that the kind of learning he was looking for did not align with what the programme offered him.
Investing had already caught his attention. In 2022, he began investing in the stock market, developing a personal interest that would help shape his professional direction.
When a personal interest met a wider need.
As Rajath explored investing, he noticed that many people around him had limited understanding of what investing meant, why it mattered, or how it could fit into their financial lives.
People work hard to earn money and provide for themselves and their families. Yet understanding how money works, how inflation affects purchasing power, and how wealth can be built over time is not always part of that journey.
This observation helped shape the idea behind Capital Fort. Rajath saw an opportunity to build a business around his interest in finance while encouraging people to become more aware of their financial choices.
For him, the objective was not simply to participate in the financial services industry. It was to build something of his own in a field he genuinely wanted to understand.
Money should be understood, not avoided.
Rajath challenges the idea that wanting to earn money or build wealth is something to be ashamed of. In his view, money is an important part of life—one that can provide choices, create opportunities, support families, and offer greater freedom.
What matters, he believes, is how money is earned, used, and managed. Learning about personal finance and investing is a practical step towards understanding those choices.
